PRESENTATION:

Be able to run 11 km without stopping.

When I was a child I used to do athletics, I did for 10 years, but four years ago I had an injury and I had to stop running and stop doing any sport that involved running. They did not discover what my calf muscle injury was (when the muscle warmed up it grew more than the cavity where it was located) and the only solution they proposed was to leave athletics.

The main reason for this personal challenge is that now I am recovered, I would like to be able to recover my resistance and be able to run on the road and also on the mountain with obstacles and more unevenness. To do that, I've signed up for a gym to improve my physical endurance and get in shape and I'll go for a walk and run with my father, who also really likes sports and running.

I am now able to hold a cardio class for an hour with various breaks to breathe and rest. And I last at most about five minutes running.

By June I hope I have recovered my physical resistance to the maximum or close and I am able to run 11 km at a good pace without stopping(round trip from my house in Cerdanyola to Hipica Can Caldes in Sant Cugat).


WEEK 21 - 25

This week I didn't have much time to do sports since I started working as a babysitter with two children at

noon. However, to continue being active I have gone walking to look for them at school approximately two

km from my house. And besides, I'm a volunteer at a dog shelter and I go at least once or twice a week.

There I walk the dogs, I wash their cages, I feed them... It's not like going to the gym, but I spend 4 hours

without being still for even five minutes.


WEEK 28-06

This week I have already started exercising myself. I have gone four times to the gym and I went for a walk

with my mother about 7km.

In the gym to control the capacity due to Covid, it is mandatory to reserve a place in the classes.

So, that way I can know the classes I have done each week (picture at the right).

WEEK 7-13

As before starting to run I want to improve my resistance, I have gone to the gym for two days

to do cardio and strength. I have also walked to work for a couple of days (about two km approx.).
